Questions

Questions about sea freight

What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL (full container load) means a whole container for your goods. LCL (less than container load) means you share a container and pay only for the space you use, which suits smaller volumes.

What is the difference between a 20 ft and a 40 ft container?

A 20 ft container holds roughly 33 m³ and suits heavy goods. A 40 ft container holds roughly 67 m³ and suits larger volumes of lighter goods. We'll help you choose the right size.

How do I import goods from China to the Czech Republic?

We arrange the whole route: pickup from the supplier in China, sea or air freight, customs clearance in the EU and delivery to your warehouse in the Czech Republic. You just give us your supplier's contact details and the order documents.

How long does sea freight from China take?

Typically about five to six weeks door to door to the Czech Republic. If you need goods faster, air freight or a combination of transport modes is an option.

How much does a container from China cost?

Container prices change often, depending on the season, the shipping line and demand. Ask us for a current quote for your route and volume.

Do you import from the USA and other countries?

Yes. We handle sea and air freight from Asia, North and South America and Africa to the Czech Republic and across Europe.
